well, my clinical is officially over and i have a job at the hospital working part-time as a recuperative care assistant (RCA) with the other guy from my school that went there for a clinical.  it was such an amazing experience and i really didn't want it to be over!  but now i have some great classes coming up and hopefully this semester i won't fall asleep through them!  =)  yeah, nasty little habit i have...  cool thing of the week: i may be going to NYC in may with one of the other students i met while at Baptist cause her family is from long island and she'll be going back up there after she graduates in May.  yay! 

in response to a question on my last post: i have 1 1/2 years left of PT school, but less than half of that is actual class time while the rest of it is more clinical time (yay!).  i'm halfway through the program as of now and i can't wait to graduate!  i'm so excited to finally see the end, however weird it'll be to be a real person when i'm done.  i'm ready for the weirdness...bring it on!  i'm about to be a doctor....does that scare anyone else?!?

i saw jennifer richardson and tiffany scheider at uca this week which never happens cause i'm never there, so i wanted to say hey and it was awesome to see you guys!  love you!

oh, my gosh...my clinical is the best experience of my life besides salvation.  =)  i cannot even describe how i feel when i go to work.  i got sick this week and couldn't go on thursday and actually cried because i couldn't go.  it is absolutely amazing!  i know God has me in the right place in  my life.  i can't believe i'll actually get paid to do what i'm doing...i could do it for free for the rest of my life and be fulfilled!  i hope you all enjoy your jobs as much as i do!  and if not, reconsider what you're doing because you have to love what you do or it doesn't mean anything.  you won't make a difference if you're not passionate about it.  love you all!

happy new years eve!  hope everybody's christmas's were wonderful. 

ok, i don't believe in new years resolutions exactly, but vaniel and i have decided to have a "friendly" competition to get the year started.  we've decided we're both horribly out of shape and we're gonna change it.  so our first "weigh-in" is today and then we start an 8 week intensive work-out and eat healthy program custom designed for us (because we came up with it).  every week before the house we're gonna weigh-in and see who lost the most weight and that night after the house the meal is free for that person.  at the end of the 8 weeks whoever lost the most gets to choose dinner and activity that the other pays for.  my restaurant is NU.  yeah, i better win!

ok, new entry!

i am so excited about christmas...mine starts thursday with my close family on my mom's side that night, then friday is mine and vaniel's christmas (ice skating, homemade soup, fireplace going, and presents), saturday for lunch is my dad's extended family, then that night after the house is my immediate family, then sunday is my mom's extended family after church, then monday is vaniel's family.  5 days of christmas, here i come!

there is no way to describe to you what 3 hours of being in a heated pool every afternoon will do for the soul.  =)
